About canon digital IXY- picture display problems?

i am using my canon camera- i take a lot of sample pictures to copy it in my computer.But why is it that when i enter it on a computer my memory card is empty.? So i tried to take some picture again but from the LCD of the camera the picture doesnt exist or did not display,. What would be the cause of the problem?

I'd suspect a bad memory card. BUy a new one or borrow one and see if that works. If it doesn't, call Canon for the location of a service center for your camera repair.
