Which Digital Camera should I purchase? Please Help!!?

I have pretty much narrowed my choises down to either the Pentax Opito T10, or the Cannon Powershot SD630. If you have any advice for me, it would be greatly appreciated, I will have this camera for a long time most likely, and I need to to be the best! I wanted a very compact camera, with a large screen, and awesome picture quality and features. So which one is it, thanks!

I would choose Canon over Pentax-anytime. The SD models are an excellent choice-very compact and mostly made of metal-they feel very solidly built.

The Canon SD630 is a very good compact camera. It recently won a European award for 'best ultra compact'.
If you don't need such a large screen, then the SD600 is the better choice.
Both of these SD models only have a battery life of up to 160 shots, so you need to charge the battery regularly.

For a more stylish looking camera (but more expensive) look at the Canon SD700 IS (which I have). It has an optical image stabiliser-hence the higher cost. It's very nice, with better battery life of up to 240 shots.

I would recommend a fast 1GB SD card (Sandisk Ultra II or Extreme III-lifetime warranty)

hi we have a kodak and it works great. we have had it for a year and no problems. try any kodak easy share all are great. all my family has an easyshare digital cam prices may vary. found in most department stores.

I recommend a Kodak product. I have a Kodak 10x optical zoom 4.0MP I bought a few years ago. I am impressed with it for being such an affordable camera. The software is pretty good as well. I know you are looking for something more then I purchase, but I can say I am impress with their less then professional lines. I recommend browsing their better product lines.

I agree with Petra 110%. You WANT to be able to shut off that darn LCD monitor to save batteries sometimes. She has chosen two models that you will like if you were interested in the SD630.
