Digital Camera Question!!!?

I have a Canon 7.1MP Digital Camera - A550 and when i turn it on how come the screen looks cracked but on when its turned on i know it doesn't make since but help me or else i'm in deep trouble!!!!=[

A crack might not show unless it is illuminated. The pieces are not displaced AT ALL, so you just can't see the crack. Try shining a flashlight at the screen from an angle while it is off and see if you see the crack. If you do, uh oh...
