Which digital camera is generally more endurable,and has less problems,and better qualitysony,canon oryashica?

can I find a camera which has optical&digital zoom with as good quality as a camera whith optical zoom.I'm not lookin' for a professional one but s.th. good for my house and occasions.

My top pick is Canon...for quality in build, features and photos. The most important type of zoom that you have to think about is Optical...Digital zoom is completely useless because it degrades the quality of the photo.
If you want an ultra compact point & shoot camera look at one of Canon's excellent SD models.
SD1000...7.1MP, 3X optical, 2.5" LCD, viewfinder
SD750...7.1MP, 3X optical, 3.0" LCD, no viewfinder
Both cameras have a battery life of 210 shots...or up to 600 shots with the SD750's LCD turned off.
SD900, ...10MP, 3X optical, approx. 230 shots

For a slightly larger camera, look at one of Canon's new A series cameras.
A570 IS...7.1MP, 4X optical, image stabilization, aperture & shutter priority, up to 400 shots (using NiMH rechargeable batteries).
A560...7.1MP, 4X optical, up to 500 shots (using NiMH).

Yashica is not a top brand...the major camera review sites do not even list it.

i agree with Petra_au, canon is best, and digital zoom isn't that good actually, i never use the digital zoom, because of the results......

fujifilm. i've had 3 fuji cameras and ive abused them and they still work fine. the main issue is that they usually take XD memory card.
