Which is the best digital camera SONY DSC-W50 or Canon PowerShot A95? |
Which is the best digital camera SONY DSC-W50 or Canon PowerShot A95? Where are you coming up with these old Canon cameras? The A95 was replaced by the A620, which has been replaced by the A630. cannon always has quality stuff. I have an older power shot and it's great. I would go for the Canon. Canon has been building on camera technology loger than Sony. We have a Sony DSC-W30 and LOVE IT! However, I have never used a Canon, so have no way to compare the 2. I compared the specs and i believe the better camera is the Sony. The Sony has 6 megapixels where as the canon has only 5, the Sony also has a lager display and is thinner than its competitor. The one thing i do like about the canon is the fact it has a 3x optical zoom. That depends on what you look for in a camera. I myself have the Sony DSC-W50 and I love it so far. It incorporates an anti-shake technology so even if you shake the camera, the picture doesn't turn out blurry. I haven't tried the Canon myself but do a search on digital camera reviews and there are sites that will let you do side-to-side comparisons. One of the biggest things I look for in a camera is what kind of storage device it uses. SD cards would be the best bet to go since most people already have a SD card and they are the cheapest. Memory stick pro duo is what the sony dsc-w50 uses and that's still an OK alternative since the price for those are pretty decent. Just stay away from ones with xD cards.. very pricy and totally unnecessary. Good luck! for me SONY Cybershot Way such an outdated model of Canons A series? But what ever, the A95 is still a good camera. W50 has decent pictures but cannot compare to A630. W50 has horrible noise at high ISO settings, thats a real turn off I think for me. I own SONY DSC-W50 and I am very very satisfied so far. I had a Sony and I loved it dearly. It took great photos and was so easy to use. The design was intuitive and it was my best little pal. But it only lasted a year before the screen broke. I have 2 friends with Sonys, and theirs all died a premature death as well. I have a Canon now. It's got a swivelling screen, which is neat, and higher MP, but it's not as... as... something. I don't love it the way I loved the Sony. But the pics are great and it's tough, though a bit boxy. Very sturdy. I recommend it based on it's longevity. I still miss that sleek little Sony, though. You never forget your first... |
