I have a Canon Powershot Digital Camera and somewhere in the process of moving I lost the wall charger for the battery. It's not a charger for the camera, its a charger for the battery for the camera. It doesn't have a cord or anything on it. It just has the two prongs that plug into the wall. I don't know exactly what you call it but I've looked everywhere. I've tried Wal-Mart, Radioshack, Best Buy and none of them have it. I've even tried the manufacturer and still nothing. Looks like that battery charger is going to be mighty expensive -- you might be better off just getting a new camera that can re-use your memory card(s). Or maybe an "open box" special at Best Buy or Circuit City just to get the charger.
If you go for a new camera, you might consider one that uses AA batteries and get some NiMH rechargeable batteries. Maybe a little bulkier, but you'll always be able to find cheap replacement batteries and chargers. You'll also be able to use alkaline batteries in a pinch (check the manual before you buy to make sure about that, though, since some only want lithium or NiMH)... |
