Which one is better, a Casio Digital Camera or a Cannon one?

I am trying to decide on which digital to buy. Which one is better brand or is better item? I looked on amazon.com for a Casio EX-Z60 silver and black (is the color the only difference?) 6MP

Which one is better and more reliable? Please I am open to suggestions. Would you recommend any other brand and model? I am looking for something compact, small in size and that can be taken any where.

I would recommend the Canon. I have the SD700 IS and it's a fantastic little camera. I'm sure you would be very happy if you bought a Canon.

Canon is a better brand, but you might also look at Fuji's lineup this year!?

The canon cameras are the best digital cameras out there. the canon sd600 sounds like a good idea.

I owned a canon sure shot and now have a fuji 5200. I wouldnt trade the fuji for anything. the clarity is so much better with infinitly more features on the fuji.

CANON! Casio is only for people who want a thin camera to look cool, not for people who want to take great photos.

We have the sd600 and love it. I also have several other Canon's including a dSLR and wouldn't buy another brand (aside from a Nikon dSLR, but only if all of my lenses were stolen!).

Search Yahoo answers, there are a million questions like this and the answer is ALWAYS CANON!

You're right, they are similar. They were both released on the same day (1 year ago) The Casio is a bit slimmer, and quicker to respond. The Canon has just slightly better image quality, a higher resolution LCD. They both use the same ccd. They both have 3x zoom lenses, but the Canon is slightly wider and slightly brighter- but really not much.

the Canon is also a bit more expensive. Perhaps worth it.

Both companies make better products... for more money.
