Does anyone have a Canon Powershot 6.0-Megapixel digital Camera?

I was wondering what kind of delay there is when taking pictures (can you take one picture and then take another picture instantly?). And I also want to know how good the zoom is.

Canon's Powershot series cams are notorious for a delay. Even the newest P7 10 megapixel has a delay. It is the delay of the autofocus.

I really think they are designed this way to lure people to get the EOS level cams. The EOS are fast.

So with that, the best way to avoid the delay is to prefocus your shot. Press the button halfway so it is locked on the focus, then take the picture.

It is actually recommended to take pictures this way with a digital cam. Yes, it is not as fast as a 35 mm but it will get you your pic instantly.
