Canon Camera?

My sister want to buy a Canon Camera and I was wondering how good they are? It's a Canon PowerShot 8.0 Megapixel Digital Camera. Any info you can give me will be appreciated. Thanks!

鈾?I have a Canon Powershot and I LOVE it! It takes wonderful pictures, it has great settings [[that can be changed to your liking]] and overall is a great camera. The only thing I have found that I do NOT like about it is the delay... You have to hold the button down for a few seconds before the picture takes and after the picture is taken the delay is not as fast as I'd like... especially if I'm trying to take pics consectutively. However its still a good camera and I would recommend it! :-)

I have a Canon Rebel and like it very much.

Canon and Nikon are the best you can get. It is a good camera.

i hate digital, its a photography embarresment! but on the nice hand, i think it is a good camera

Well you nailed down one of the big two. As far as the everyday consumer....Nikkon and Canon are the best you can get...
as far as digital 8 megapix is all she will ever need. I have two canons and one nikkon..
there are hardly so little differences in them that a pro would have a hard time figuring out which one was the best.

Well if it's the Canon A630 it's an excellent camera. The A630 is 8 megapixels, 4X optical zoom and has manual controls to boot. Beach Camera has it for $190-+ shipping.

I've got the 640, great camera, no complaints. If you're running Vista you'll probably have to call their web site and check for updated drivers.Over all ,camera is excellent, good choice.

I have a Cannon A520. One of the cheapest. It takes really pictures! I accidentally broke it and sent it to Cannon and they fixed it within a week. They even let you track it while in service. The Powershot 8.0 would be a lot better and you will have great zooming capabilities and today's models probably have all kids of neat features. Some of my friends like slimmer cameras so she might want to consider that.

Canon Powershots are the BEST point & shoot cameras. You should definetly go for it!
