How to delete "corrupted data" image off of a digital camera ?

I am using a Lexar Platinum II 2 GB 80x speed Compact flash and have 2 images that will not delete, they say "corrupted data" and then when you go to delete is says protected.....
Digital Camera is a Canon Digital Rebel XT.......
How can I remove these???

You can try formatting the the memory card. Just remove everything you want to save then go to the camera's menu and there should be an option to format card.
