Or maybe a 28-80 lens? I think "best" and "under $250" are mutually exclusive terms.

http://www.fredmiranda.com the canon 28- 80 lens is a piece of crap you can buy second hand for a few quid . In this range get the Tamron 28-75 or sigma 24-70 it will push your budget a little but is not much worse than a Canon 24-70 mm L which is 拢800 Anything under $250 is going to be a sub-par lens at best. You really need to read reviews on the Canon lenses before you set your budget. That will allow you to see what lenses are affordable, without compromising quality. Check out the link below; It will help you figure out which lens will be best for you.
BTW, I have a Digital Rebel XT and I bought the Canon 28-135 USM IS lens and LOVE it. It cost me about $600 once I paid taxes and bought the lens hood, but the investment was well worth it. Instead of viewing your lens as a purchase, view it as an investment and you will not be disappointed! |
