Should i buy the new sony w200 or the canon ixus 900ti digital camera?

The main difference according to specifications is that the Sony has image stabilization. Gotta love it. Go here and read the owner opinions. Be aware of the "absence of fine/standard mode at 12 MPixel but this seems to be the norm today with Sony compacts," says one user. I don't exactly understand what that means, except it appears you do not have full function at 12 MP.

You can also read the review of the Canon, which is the camera I bought for my own pocket camera about 6 months ago, by the way. And I love it... It does not have "IS," though, which might make for sharper pictures. I can't say that I've missed it at this point, though. It's not like there is a huge telephoto and using the viewfinder instead of the LCD makes for somewhat less shaking.

I've always had a good experience with the Canon cameras.

If you already have a camera and are deciding on a new one choose the one that uses the same memory cards that you have already.

If not, then choose cameras that use SD cards.

hi, go for the Canon mate as canon specialize in photography where as sony concentrate on tvs, stereos and thing like that. plus the canon ixus is a fantastic camera with a brilliant zoom- Canon all the way !!!!
