pleaes help After you plug it in and have turned on the camera, what happens? Anything? Do lights flash on the camera? Have you tried using the Mac file manager?
Digital cameras are not Mac/PC sensitive. They work on either one. My guess is that you did not install the photo software that came with the camera.
You can move the images from your cameras card to your computer by using the card reader on your computer No icon showing up on the Desktop when your camera is connected? How about in Disk Utility?
If there is another USB port on your Mac try connecting there. Try it with another USB cable.
In Image Capture > Preferences General tab, change the app in the drop down menu of Camera: to something else and try it. |
