I have had this canon digital camera for several years.I only use the auto mode and this is the only mode i want to use. Recently 'sometimes' there appear these shakey horizontal or vertical lines on the lcd screen. (it has no effect upon the finished pic itself (i believe?) )the vertical shakey lines seem to 'occasionally' appear on the right hand side of the screen if there is a light from the ceiling over the subjects..so if i just move the camera to take pic of the right side that is not effected by the vertical lines..those lines disappear from the lcd screen..(but of course the people on the right side of the lcd screen are 'left' out of the frame. I am not so sure this is the same situation that takes place when the shakey horizontal lines appear over the entire lcd screen. Should i just buy a 'new' camera? I think? it must be the lcd screen or what has to do with it..and it would probably cost more than to just buy a new camera..but why? did this happen? u think 'old age'? Cameras fine. It is probably the tape itself. That happens if the tape is dirty as well and sometimes if your setting is way off. Sounds like the ccd imager is going bad,If you want to get rid of it contact me,tmerring64@yahoo.com |
