My digital camera is showing "Memory card locked" message when i try to access my camera in Playback mode. When I connect to my computer it is showing "Card not detected" or "Memory card locked". I am using a CANON digital camera.
Can anyone give me a good solution for this. How can i unlock my memory card. Should i format my memory card. Well..Seems like you have accidentaly copy protected the card..Check if there is some kind of small gut or snitch or something like that on the card..These are usually quite small..Once you find it, shift the position of the small thingy to unlocked position..Voila..you should have it ready by now..If it still dosent work, try switching the camera on and off with the card inside..Still dosent work??Well..then I guess you should format your card.. it should have an ulock on it just play with it or go to canon,s web site Locked means you have moved the very small slide tab on the side of the card to the locked position. Move it in the opposite direction and that should fix the problem.
