Is a remote/cable release available for the Canon Powershot A610 digital camera?

I would like to do so digiscoping, and would like to be able to stabilize the camera as much as possible when snapping a picture.

I know you can take pictures remotely using a PC and the A620. Not sure if this feature is incorporated in the 610 as well.

I second the use of the 2 or 10 sec. timer along with a tripod or solid surface. I use this for low light night shots and have never had a problem.

No remote, but try using the self timer to reduce camera shake.

Hi, I recommand you to try google picasa.

picasa is a Google's photo software. It's what should've come with your camera.

It can Edit , organise and Share you picture and small video flips.

It's very easy to use and is free, just like Google

Download it free in here:

Good Luck!
