I have a Canon A540 digital camera, how do I download movies to my computer?

The Canon A540 has a USB cord. Plug that into your camera and the other end into your computer. Your computer may recognize your camera as a Removable Storage Device or as a Canon Digital Camera. Click on START>MY COMPUTER and look for new hardware that would be your camera. If you have an SD card in your camera, you will see two listings. Perhaps Drive F and Drive G, for example. Double click on the listing for the camera and a window should pop up listing all the files in your camera's memory. Drag-and-drop the files you want onto your computer's desktop.
