I'm looking at the
- A700 (6x optical, 6MP, Shutter/Aperture Priority, NO image stabilization)
- SD 700IS (4x optical, 6MP, Image Stabilization, NO S/A Priority)
- A620 (4x optical, 7.1MP, Older Model, NO image stabilization)
I has to be compact enough to fit in a pocket, even if its a tight fight though... Why does it have to fit in your pocket?
I LOVE my Canon Sureshot S1 IS. Now they have a S3 IS and I want one!

This web site can really help you pick out a great camera! That's how I found the S1 IS for me and an HP R707 for my friend that does not know the first thing about digital photography.
Good luck! Well the A620 would be a great camera..it also has a very handy flip out and twist (vari-angle) LCD screen that folds inwards when not in use, so the lcd screen is protected. The reviews give it excellent ratings, especially for image quality.
If you want a really small camera then the SD 700IS would be the best choice...but remember it has no real manual controls....it would be perfect to carry with you all the time.
I like both......its hard to chooose as you said it should be compact then sd700is will be the choice. if you are not pro then you can take this even this doesn't have m/a priority.because you can trust the metering method of canon.
if you are very keen about zoom then take PS A700 |
