Question? Would Canon AE-1 lenses (vintage 1980s) work with the new digital camera Canon Rebel (10megapix) ?They won't work directly, since they have different mounts. BH Photo has an adapter that might work:

The lens won't have auto focus and some of the auto exposure features probably won't work as well. I would just bite the bullet and get some new glass!
I hope this helps! Even if the aftermarket converter works, you will lose the autofocus capability. This is one of the reasons, I have stuck with my Minolta x-700. I can't afford to uy a new digital SLR and a bunch of glass to use with it.
If you don't care about losing autofocus, the converter is your only hope. |
