How is this camera? I just bought one this week. I LOVE it. If you JUST need to point and shoot, its probably more camera than you need. It has SO many features! (But its still great for point and shoot). The clarity of the focus on the zoom is incredible. If you shop at Ritz Camera, they will let you keep it for ten days, and if you dont like it, you can bring it back, no questions asked. Its a little heavy to me (I have carpal tunnel in my wrists) but still lightweight as cameras go. Definitely has a lot to offer in a small camera. The price has JUST dropped, and will drop again right before Christmas. I couldnt wait though. Good luck! My daughter has an S2 IS and she loves it. The S3 is the newer version, so I guess she would endorse it.
