Digital Camera - Canon ixus 70 and Olympus mju760, which one better?

Click on "Read owner opinions." There's only one person responding (so far) for the Olympus, and he didn't even make any comments... People are less than thrilled with the image quality of the Canon, too.

Steve's Review was kinder to the Canon and advised keeping the camera in the "Superfine" and "Large" setting, which has been my choice for the SD900 as well. You can see sample images at Steve's site and compare.

Personally, I think the images from the IXUS 70 (SD1000) are quite good and certainly better than the Olympus, which shows a lot of mottlling, even on the outdoor photos.

Canon ixus would be my choice if I were you . Canon is the Best !

i think CAnon i xus 70 is better.

I've had several Canon cameras and they have been all good. My Canon S-20 is excellent. I had one Olympus and it was a piece of garbage. I vote for Canon!

While the Olympus has a slightly lager (physical) sensor, it uses those flimsy xD cards. For that reason I would have to give the nod to the ixus 70 because it uses the most used SD memory card.
