I have a Canon S2 IS digital camera, I can't figure out how to see how much juice is left in the dog-on batteries. Most point and shoot cameras from Canon does not display battery life. Sorry. I have the Canon SD700 IS and it does not display battery life on it either. Itll only warn you when you have about 10-20 more shots left. (If you have the LCD on maybe less than 10) You will get over 550 shots on fully charged NiMH batteries (2500 mAh). Less if you use the LCD a lot, and use the flash and zoom function frequently.
Rechargeable batteries are designed to self discharge when not in use...so always make sure you recharge them at least a day before or on the day of intended use.
And that way you will never have to worry about running out of battery power. A spare recharged set, or Energizer e2 Lithium AA's (not rechargeable) are good to use as an emergency back-up. Can't. Only lets you know when it's low. |
