The camera uses a lithium ion battery pack not batteries. Thanks. I am guessing you are from the States-but sorry if that's a wrong assumption. As far as I know camera and Ipod chargers don't have a problem with the voltage difference because they operate through converters anyway-but you will need an adaptor for Europe. Greece operates on the standard European socket (looks a bit like a shaver socket, with the round pins) so these should be easily available. Although one thing to watch out for is that many modern installations now require a grounding pin (a third pin in the socket) but some don't and the 2 different kind of chargers are not compatible. Can't comment because I don't know where you will be staying. I have travelled through much of Europe and lived in the States (and being from England, we are always completely different) and I have never had a problem with voltage difference, only the adaptor. Hope that helps. You need a voltage converter. Radioshack has various ones and they know whcih ones work in which countries. |
