Can you put a Kodak memory card in a Canon digital camera? |
Can you put a Kodak memory card in a Canon digital camera? Hey Memory cards are somewhat universal. But some cameras slots are not. Check a few different companies like San-Disk and see if the application fits both brands of camera. yes you can. as long as the card type is the same. I've done that before, it works OK. Both of my cameras use CompactFlash cards, but no matter what type of card, as long as both cameras have the same card type, it should work. If one uses SD and the other is a Stick, you are out of luck. However, don't expect that the data will work properly in both cameras (if you take pics or videos with the Kodak, you may not be able to see them on the Canon). You should empty the memory card before transferring it from one camera to the other, and then format the card in the new camera. This will ensure that the card will work in the new camera, and that all of the old data is killed. Yes, if it fits, it will work. Just let your Canon format it to Canon standards.. well, most cameras accept any company mem cards.u can use any card on your cam.just see whatv type(format) it is. get the same.the company does not matter |
