CANON EOS Digital Rebel XTi 400D Camera You can't crop or edit in any other way from the LCD screen. The LCD screen is only a review mode. You can zoom in to check your focus, but that's about it. That is right .. what you are doing is looking at the detail and focus of the shot. If you want the photo cropped , move in closer to your subject or zoom in.... just like the rest of us do. Otherwise cropping on the computer essentially throws a way some of the data you have on your file ... at that point, you are basically using only part of your sensor. The answer you have above me is correct. Your camera is just saving the photo, there is no ability to edit in the camera. No big deal, you get all the information on the computer, and a quick crop is no big deal. |
