I own a Canon digital camera, and I accidentally deleted a video. Can I recover?

I deleted a video off my Canon SD 750, is there a way to recover that deleted video?
I was told to google recovery software and there was a possibility of downloading a software and connecting my camera to it. Then some how the video would appear again.. Any truth to that? Before I try it.

Here's some freeware photo recovery software that should be what you're looking for. It will work, especially the last one listed.:

But you will need to use a flash card reader with this software. If you don't have one, get one, they're cheap:

I believe if you deleted it from your camera then its gone,
the chip is wiped clean . If you had downloaded it on to a PC then you could have recovered it. I'm afraid you are out of luck.
