Where would a Canon camera be located on a camera? |
This is hard for me to explain, Where on the computer would a camera be to access it. On My computer it doesn't show up as a device but using special software i can access images on the camera. Problem is i want to use some software to undelete files and i can't find where it is located on my computer. Sorry If that didn't make any sense but any suggestions? Most if not all of the special software that you speak of requires the use of a card reader. Most "recovery" software works great with a card reader, have recovered many lost photos this way. But am unfamiliar with any recovery software that allows recovery of pictures directly from the camera. In short, recommend getting a card reader to go with your software. They're very inexpensive: It's easier to download the files from the memory card (using a memory card reader) than to plug the camera into the computer's USB port. It uses a lot of power--and unless you have an A/C power adapter, you'll just drain the battery. If your printer has a built in card reader you can use that for reading the memory card. If not a low cost card reader will work great. Lexar makes a nice one for around $24 Yea.. you will have to do a card reader, you can only copy files FROM your camera and delete them when the card is in the camera itself. At least, that is how my camera is. been a while but using the canon software i think it would be located in my computer like a hard drive Have you tried Canon support?? |
