The difference between adobe bridge / light room / and my canon zoom browser software? |
Hi all, Adobe Bridge is not a RAW converter. It is only a file viewer / organization program which is part of Photoshop CS2 and CS3. You cannot use it to process RAW photos. Well ideally you should use the canon software, because it should also allow you to convert the image from RAW fairly effortlessly as well as view them in their RAW state. It all depends on what you want to do with them in the long run really, if you can you could convert them in the canon software to a TIFF, then in lightroom retouch it all and then save it as a TIFF so that file can be used as a print, and then add a border after you've saved that file for print and save it as a JPEG, if you want to send it up into an online gallery or a blog or such as you wish to do.
