Can u suggest a better camera in 8 MP range than the Canon Powershot A590.. ?..kindly suggest .. Most are similar until you move to the next level. The megapixles really don't have much to do with the quality of the picture. You really only need to pay attention to megapixles if you are printing your pictures bigger than 8x10. I have a Canon Rebel XTI and I love it if you are wanting to go to the DSLR route. If you are unhappy with the Powershot, I agree, go DSLR. I don't think there is a camera as capable and has the image quality of the A590 at its price point. You'd have to spend at least $50 more to get a better camera. If you want to stick with Canon go with the Power Shot S5 IS, it is a really good camera. I have the S3 IS and I use it for my every day point and shoot. |
