Does the camera manufacturer PENTAX make good quality digital cameras? |
Does the camera manufacturer PENTAX make good quality digital cameras compared to Canon, Nikon, Sony, Panasonic, Casio etc? Pentax is a camera/imaging company first, just like Nikon, Canon, Olympus and Leica. Sony, Panasonic and Casio are consumer electronic companies and make cameras along with other items. Pentax quality is right there with the best of them and far better than companies like Casio. Sony and Panasonic do make good cameras, especially now that Sony has taken over the Konika Minolta camera business. Pentax is definitely a good, solid choice. The Pentax K series with built-in image stabilization contained in the camera body is truly a sound camera base on which to build on. And of course, their auxilliary lenses are far more affordable than auxilliary lenses offered by Nikon or Canon. I'd choose the Pentax camera if you are on a budget. they are not bad...i got one for xmas 2 years ago and i got a good week of use out of it before i dropped it and now its busted. but before i dropped it i liked it...but i think the other companies are going to be a little bit better than pentax Yes, i have one and have been very happy with it. |
