Ask yourself if you want a super zoom camera, does it have to be just a 1 second delay between shots, do you prefer an image stabilizer. 4 to 6 megapixels is sufficient for almost all users, unless you do a lot of cropping or enlarge prints more than 11X14. Buying a camera with a viewfinder helps save on battery life, for your LCD screen eats them up quickly.
To me an excellent camera would be the Fuji FinePix E900.
4X optical zoom, 9 megapixels, 1 sec delay between shots, very good on AA rechargeable batteries. Will give you an excellent 8X10 print. cannon, nikon, sony, olympus for compacts try fujifilm as it has a good variety of cameras ranging from 200-4000 dollars. hope that helps |
