HELP ME!! I need to know how my brother made these pictures...? |
I've got some pictures from my brother that look awesome!! They are dark except for these bands of lights all over the place. I've tried to duplicate it in a dark room with a flashlight but it doesn't look right. Think of those pictures you see of streets at night full of cars, where all the headlights and taillights extend and blur. I can't post them to this question, but I could email examples to you. I know they didn't use any software because they aren't in a place where computers can be used. I do know my brother has a Canon digital camera, but that's about it. I asked him how he did it and he said he's "Magic". Please email me and I'll send you some pictures so you can hopefully tell me how it did it!! Thanks so much. I figured out how to show these pictures without asking for an email address... i might be able to help, could you seen the pic to trevcb@bellsouth.net Focus your camara on an unlit portion of the freeway. The headlights will cause the background to be black as the camara adjusts to the brightest light. Use fast (400+) film and a fast shutter speed to prevent blurring. He did that by slowing the shutter speed down to the point that it takes a very long exposure. Cameras with slow shutter speed make that effect. It's not magic, its a bad camera. i've done that just by taking pics outside in the dark around lots of unnatural lights (ie street lamps). and also by doing that while moving. i have a canon powershot. but i can also pull a rabbit outta a hat so.... |
