How many pictures 1 gb memory card?

i have a canon digital camera ixy 1000 and it came with a 1 gb memory card how many pictures can i take before i fill it up and can any one tell me where i can get the owners manual for the camera

i is 10.0 mega pixels

Well that pretty much depends on the quality of the pictures. If you don't plan to print the photos, then you can use a lesser quality. You should be able to change the photo quilty on your camera. If you are planning to print the photos, you might want to use a higher quality pixels...

Either way, the number of photos will depend on the number of pixels you use.

At your best setting at 10 megapixels my chart shows 1 GB will get you 192 shots roughly 190.
