Which camera is the better buy?

Can you also tell me if one of these cameras can record a video too?

Don't bother with the Kodak...it's not very good (optically).
I usually recommend Canon, but in this case I would say that the Sony is better.
Because...(it has 3 extra megapixels than the Canon, has slightly more zoom, a stronger flash, and a better movie mode, 30fps V 10 fps at 60X480).

canon definitely just check the consumer reports

neither get a polaroid instant camera

i want one of those small cameras...

Id suggest a Sony (i have one) and Casio camaras

and sony's mem stick pro/ Duos are the way to go these days

sony or canon either one is very good.

Hey the best camera in my opinion is the Kodaks over 5.0 megapixels

I'd go for the Sony cybershot, I had that camera before I bought my nikon digital refelex camera. (D70)
I've looked at other brands including kodac and canon, but to me the sony came out best, easiest to use and quality wise it's better, then kodac by far, and about the same as canon... I choose for safety... meaning not scr***ing up that one photo that you just had to have... so the easiest way. good luck shopping

I like the sony cyber-shot better... alot better, much nicer picture quality... :) hope that helps any...

forget about the kodak, it;s garbage. the canons are really good camera's, but i'm a fan of sony's.the pictures a crystal clear and the colours are true to life. the memory cards are more expensive but it's worth every penny.

Hello , When you read the review on any website which advise users to buy digital cameras you can see one thing very clear , cannon is the best among the all . Canon is a recommended buy , Sony is also good but as a second choice in the place of Digital cameras . So please don't hesitate to purchase Canon its the best among the rest !

Canon PowerShot SD30 definitely!!.. and yes it can record small video clips.. check out the product here: http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-1751-2... They even come w/ warranties here and extra accessories that you don't get in a retail store.
