My DIGITAL zoom dosen't work! HOW can you fix it?

It says that the digital zoom is on in camera mode and the video mode but only works in video mode. It is a Casio EX-Z60.

I rarely bother with digital zoom. I suggest to get the shot you just move in closer to your subject. No digital zoom necessary. If you need enlargement then do it on the computer.

Yikes. You may not have noticed but it is HIGHLY recommended that you NEVER use the digital zoom on your camera. If you need to crop later, use the software that came with your camera.

That said, in the video mode, once you reach the maximum zoom range you are stuck with having to use the lower resolution of digital zooming, since no software that I know of (affordable) will allow you to crop your video.

FIND A NEW CAMERA, ITS NOT WORTH FIXING

if its a new camera then you should just get it back to the seller and exchange it. But if it is older then you should get it checked out by a dealer. Hope this helps.
