My birthday is this Saturday [ the 8th of September ] & my family was asking what I wanted for my birthday.
Well, I want a digital camera, but I need help picking out a good one.
I have two that I like a lot. I want one with a big screen, good resolution, and that isn't too costly.

Casio 7.2 MP

The two links above are the two cameras that I have my eye on. Can someone help me and tell me which one would be better for me to get.
It's between the one with a lower resolution and lower price, and one with higher resolutiong and higher price.
I'm turning 16 and I'm a female, if that's needed.
Don't bug me about how I should be asking for a car instead, I already know I'm getting one..mmkay?
Thanks in advance! =] Nikon Coolpix S4 Between these two, I'd go for the 7.2 megapixel one. That's because it's more likely to have better noise characteristics and 7.2 megapixels is already good enough for large prints.
There's no reason to get a 10mp point and shoot, except for advertising hype. The reality is that cramming all those photosites onto a sensor results in electrical interference, heat, etc. that cause unnecessary image noise. If you want something cheaper with good quality go with Fujifilm.. I have bought one and my mom has one and we have been very, very pleased with the results. They weren't very expensive either.. I hope you find one you like.. I have a Fujifilm A345.. they get better the further up you go in the number.. Good luck! |
