Okay, Today is my Birthday, I went shopping about 1 weekago to get everything i wanted, I bought this Beautiful Red Casio digital camera, I opend it yesterday and charges it, But somthing was wrong with the battery so we got a new and free one from the place where i got it, Now i was on the beach and i came back up, Everytime i Tryed to turn it on, It attempted to open and on the screen it sid, Lense Error, Now i am so mad about this, (It is my birthday) I heard that to repair it its alot of money, & all Casio lenses arnt the great, What to do? Any help would be Thanked. having a lens error after having a battery error sounds to me more like you got a dud camera. not knowing which casio it is i can't exactly troubleshoot for you, but if it's brand new you have a warrenty for probably 90 days from the manufacturer so you should be able to get a replacement. And yes, repairing a digital camera is not worth the cost, it's easier to simply get a new one, especially if it was below $400 for the camera new. you should have no problems with a new digital camera, casio is a good camera in general, so that one particular camera is probably just a bad apple that somehow made it past inspection, but even getting another of the same model should solve the problem, unless there was some trauma to the camera, such as it was dropped, in which case you are probably up a creek, as it were. i worked in a camera store for a while, and if you show any competent person in a camera store (but go to a specialty one, not best buy or walmart, chain stores that aren't specifically camera stores) they can possibly help you figure it out or advise you exactly on what to do about the camera, but the sooner you act the better, before you lose warrenty. |
