The battery for my digital camera won't charge...?

I got it on the morning of April 4th and plugged it in. I unplugged it at 10 to go to school and came back at 5 to plug it back in. I left it on all night. Same thing on April 5th. Right now, it's still charging. In the manual, it says it only takes 90 minutes to charge. Btw, It's a Casio. Help anybody? :\

If you had followed the instructions correctly, then you probably have a defective camera or battery. Since you've only recently purchased it, the seller should be able to exchange the camera for you.

If the battery is not charging, check the type of battery included with the package.

Most of the time, non-rechargeable battery are what is included with the package and you have to buy a separate rechargeable battery. Rechargeable batteries are NiMH and Li-Ion (the battery should specifically say Li-Ion and not just Lithium).

Check if if the camera will work using other batteries. If it does, the battery or the charger might have a problem. Try a different rechargeable battery on the charger. Try using it on the camera after the prescribed time.

If all else fails, try the technical support of Casio. They will be able to help you out with the camera.
