Do I have a good digital camera battery life??? Help??

I have a Casio QV-R40 and im running on 2 AA non-rechargeable batteries and I managed to take 30 pictures with maybe half of the pictures with flash. IS 30 PICTURES good or do I need to get a new camera. Anyone who knows alot about cameras, let me know.

Im going on a trip and i would hate to run out of batteries, that would suck big time

Im a cheap *** btw so buying another digital camera is the LAST option, but in terms of shots, is 30 the norm with non-rechargeable batteries, i know nothing about battery life???

and you will get over 100 pics on a charge

ALWAYS take extra batteries!! if you think your using them up, go with the rechargers. they last a long time as far as battery life and they are better for the environment. i dont know that camera but i know casio is the low end of digitals. you can get a great little digital nowadays for under $200.
