I have a Casio QV-R41 digital camera. All the times I needed to get the pictures off of it, I just plugged it into the USB port and it came up. Now I plug it in and Windows says it doesn't recognise the device! WTH?!! I've tried everything on this website: http://world.casio.com/qv/support/en/inf... but it won't read the file off the floppy disk. I don't have the installation CD cause my hubby bought it in Egypt. I've trobleshot all the USB ports and hubs, they are all working fine. I've even tried the camera in different ports. So what do I do now? I'm afraid if I buy a zip reader it won't work either beacue I have to plug it into the same USB. Buy the sd card reader i linked to at the bottom , it is only a few bucks, if it is a problem with the camera, this will work fine. if it is a problem with the usb ports, at least you will know so you can get it fixed. or it could also be a problem with the usb cable you are using. if worse comes to worse, you will have only spent a few bucks and you will know with which device the problem lies. chances are if other usb devices are working on your computer (printer, ipod, etc) than it is a problem with the cable or camera. if other devices are not working with your computer, it is a problem with your computer. if you do find out it is a problem with your computer, try shutting it down, unplugging it, (and taking out the battery if it is a laptop) and let it sit for a minute then turn it back on.
