How to fix dropped digital camera??? |
My Casio Exilim EX-Z600 6MP camera was dropped and now the camera turns on briefly (approx 1 sec), extending the lens, the LCD screen powers up, before shutting itself down and all the time with the power light flashing. The camera was fully charged overnight. Any ideas? uh..........its broke 4 sure.......try takin it 2 the place u got it from See if it is still under warranty but do not say you dropped it. Then if there is no warranty, go to the store where you bought it. Buy another one, wait two weeks and return the broke one and get your money back. Tecnically speaking - it be broke. I'm Not a professional, but my guess would be to take it and have it fixed. Check on your warranty. If that does not work you know what you have to do. YES BUY A NEW ONE! You may want to buy a new battery, but I do not think that is the problem. (if it has a lithium battery) or buy a new camera (best suggestion). You, most likely, will always have a problem with it from this point forward Go to e-bay and search for camera gears or Casio gears. You should find one there. It will cost you about $15. This is the cheapest and best way to repair your camera. If you bring it to the service center, they will replace the whole lens or the lens motor and this might cost you a hundred dollars! Buy the gears, then find any technician to place it. I did it myself. My camera was a Sony cyber-shot though, but it works the same! |
