Good digital camera?

I am looking to buy a good digital camera from singapore. I wanted one that was slim so i was looking at the casio exilim range which has the 5 megapixel as well as the 6 megapixel one, but im open to various other brand names as well. Can anyone tell me how much it would cost to get a good digital camera in singapore and from where should i get one? I have heard funan is the best but also lucky plaza and sin lim but im looking for a bargain

My budget is 500 singapore dollars, will this be enough?

Research cameras and other electronics on cnet.com. They have there own review as well as user opinions, which is very valuable info, on almost everything and especially cameras.

Stick to a name brand. Most of the units are good units.
If you want to read reviews then go to cnet.com and check out the review section for digital cameras.

Casio Exilim is a good camera and you should be able to buy it in your budget.

It's important to research. The most important things to look for are a higher number of megapixels, and a higher optical zoom. For the other features of a camera, if you know what they are, then you'll know what to look for.

Also check out the Sony W30 and W50, I think they have better lenses than the Casio Z60.
