Casio Exlim z75?

I've had this camera for about 6 months now, and I just recemtly started having problems with it.

Whenever I turn it on, it m akes me go through the set up of the time, country, home city, etc. I've tried talking the battery out and putting it back in, not having the SD memory card in it and I have read the instuction manual(which is of no help).

And nothing has happened to it, as in dropping it,with out it being in it's case(it's padded pretty well)

can anybody help me with this?

It depends on where you bought it from. If you purchased a warranty (other than the manufacturers), then I would try and take it to the place you bought it from to see if they'll service it. If you did NOT buy the warranty, I would first e~mail the manufacturer and see if they will cover this problem. For mine, they didn't cover anything having to do with the lens tho, but every company is different (mine is canon).

I would try all options before taking it to a camera shop or photography studio, where they'll charge you almost as much as your camera actually cost...just to fix it ;-)

Your best bet other than that, I guess, would be to go where you bought the camera from and have them recommend any further options (even if they can't cover the repair fees).

Also, I know that amazon just did a "silent" recall on many cameras. Mine was defective with two different ones. I eventually canceled the whole purchase and bought another one on circuitcity.com

Amazon is crediting me for the return.

If you didn't get it on amazon or eBay, they you can maybe walk-In in person?
