Need to buy cheap digital camera batteries, is usbattery.net a reliable place?

I have a Casio EX-S10 camera that runs out of batteries very very quickly, and I'd like to buy more batteries that don't cost $50 a pop. Looks like I can save quite a bit of money by getting no name brands. Is this a good idea and if so, where is the best plac e to get economic and reliable digital camera batteries?

Thanks Petra, I bought 2 900 mAh LiOn batteries from Ebay for $10,but I will definitely consider NiMH batteries in the future, though I've heard that they are not the best since they're susceptible to the memory effect, though I see what you're saying. Let me see if I can find one for ex-s10.
By the way, I've had a Casio Exilim and I've been nothing but happy, this is the replacement for the one I bought 3 years ago; it is the smallest and most compact consumer digital camera in the world, nothing comes close to it, including Nikon, even though it was a good brand and I had considered it. Form factor wast he biggest deciding factor for me, and Nikon failed in this regard, sorry.

The reason your camera runs out of batteries very quickly, is because you're using the wrong type of battery. If you're using regular batteries, you're just throwing money down the drain (or should I say, landfill?).

For cost effectiveness and reliability, you really should be using rechargeable NiMH batteries. High capacity is best (2500-2700mAh). Any good brand will do. The initial purchase price of these batteries (plus charger) might seem quite expensive...but, they can be used over and over again. You work out how much money you have wasted in buying regular batteries, time and time again. It's probably much more than the cost of rechargeables.

One way to conserve battery power is to limit the use of the flash and also the LCD screen (which uses most of the battery power). So, turn it off in-between shots and limit the time you spend reviewing your images...

EDIT: Oops, sorry...I didn't know your Casio used Li-Ion batteries..so of course you couldn't use NiMH rechargeable. But, the way in which you were talking, sounded like you were using AA batteries for your camera ("runs out of batteries").

Please IGNORE the above ramble...

Look on Ebay They usually have good prices on batteries for Digital Cameras

buy a new camera.............point and shoot cannon's and nikon's are the best........don't fuss with casio crap.....

The best place to buy cheap digital camera batteries is http://www.batterytex.com. This is the official website of m-tronics based in texas, and they are very reliable and the price sell at is very reasonable. They are worth checking out.

Try holding the camera steadier and using flash if the light is dim. Most likely, the cause of blur is not holding the camera steady enough.
