Do I need a transformer to charge my camera overseas? (England, France)? |
I have a Casio Exilim S600 digital camera, and am planning on taking it overseas to England and France. I bought grounded adapters for both countries, but the pamphlet that came with them tells me my charger needs to be dual voltage and say AC Input 110v/250v 50/60 cycles. The answer is right here: You probably will plus plug adapters and surge procwtor. Alot of over seas power is higher then our 110v plus their plugs are different. So i would suggest u get all 3 things so you won't have a problem. Since the adapter is rated for 240v @ 50Hz, you won't need a transformer, but of course, you'll need those adapters. |
