What is the best digital camera to take low light pictures with?

I cannot make my mind up between a Casio or a Fuji digital camera. I want a camera with alot of scene modes also with a pretty good zoom. I take alot of pictures in low light which is just lamp light. I am willing to spend between $200.00-$300.00. I need advise because I cannot make up my mind. I also want a camera with a lot of settings on it. So wich is better a Casio or a Fuji and which model.

I was thinking of getting either the Casio ExZ1200 or the Fujifilm F45...

Fujifilm. Try the F50fd for low-light shooting or the more expensive F100fd.

The best point and shoot ever made for low-light shooting was the discontinued Fujifilm F31, but Fujifilm got pressured by the megapixel race and then issued the F50fd. It's good, but not as good, at low-light shooting as the earlier F31. Hence, the prices for used F31 cameras has gone through the roof.

For more zoom, try the Fujifilm F100fd.

the ISO setting for the fuji is more better then other camera and the fuji use super ccd its made the photo lower noise...!in night time
the f30and f31fd is the best camera .since it was discontinue you can tried to get the f20 or f45fd(f40fd) also

i suggest canon a720 or sx100
