Under-exposed pictures on Casio Exilim Zoom EX-Z80? |
I recently recieved my new green Casio Exilim Zoom EX-Z80 8.1MP camera in the mail but have been experiencing some problems taking photos. Without the flash the pictures come out blurry, but at the same time very grainy. With the flash the picture color is bizzare and still grainy. Most the reviews on this camera are polar opposite to what I've been experiencing adn the camera I tested in the store did not seem to have this problem either. Does anyone know if theres a setting I can try to adjust or what I can do to change this? Find a comfortable chair with good lighting. Get yourself a soda or glass of tea or a cup of coffee. Now READ & STUDY the Owner's Manual for your camera. 95% (excluding camera phones) of poor picture quality is a result of user error - the person simply does not know how to use their camera. Go over your manual. Color problems can usually be solved by playing with the white balance. That "grainy" look is noise. Higher ISO settings cause that; lowering it will reduce noise. Blur is, well, out of focus by either too slow a shutter speed and low light, or the auto-focus isn't picking up your subject. |
