My camera was working fine before, until one day when I was trying to take a picture, everything was out of focus; I had no idea what was going on, so I recharged the battery thinking that maybe it would work. Was your camera dropped? It sounds like it might have suffered some damage. It could have damage, or it could just be a faulty battery.
