I have some old tapes I'd like to capture to digital...the current cheap (RCA) plays the tapes ok to TV but not well enough for the camera to capture.
Are there better VCRs which will track them better? Yes, definitely. VCRs come in a nearly unlimited range of qualities, and some have more advanced features specifically to enhance performance for dubbing tapes.
I have found that the JVC brand has many models with such features, as well as Sony and Panasonic.
You will need to access the unit's menu to activate the dubbing and picture enhancement features on various machines. These adjustments can and do improve sync stability (remove jitters) and other aspects of the picture quality. really if i were you , id get ur tapes converted to dvd. the quality is so much better
i think youll agree its the way to go |
