Can I make my own webcam?

Is it possible to make my own webcam if I have a digital camera, or perhaps make it work that way? or, am I stuck with having to go buy one? If I am, what's the cheapest for great quality?

Well mine is Phillips and its REALLY clear and not blurry, but I wouldn't think it's possible to make ur camera into a webcam... well good luck with that...
